Pet Names
Our cats all have meaningful names. Sheraton was a feral cat, captured at the Sheraton Hotel in Frazer, where she was being fed by patrons and the kitchen staff. Paitoon is our lovely flame-point Siamese. His name means "Moonstone", which reflects his creamy coat, orange points and beautiful blue eyes - just like the stone. Our youngest is a sleek black cat named Anck-Su-Namun, for the mistress of the Pharoah - Tuthankamon. You may also recognize her name as the woman on The Mummy.

RE: Pet Names
When my daughter was little we had a German shepherd mix named Sundance, or affectionately Sunny. As she grew she changed his name several time. He responded to Rex, Bear, Pookie, and her favorite Bud. She loved him so and I imagine the feeling went both ways as he tolerated her little name game.

RE: Pet Names
Our pets have had a variety of names. Chico, Charlie Bear (both dogs), Shontell and Lil Miss (both cats) are all waiting for us at the Rainbow Bridge. Our current cats are Schrodinger (yes, for Schrodinger's Cat) and Skittles who was ferral but we have adopted him. He was named cause he used to skittle away when we would approach him.
