Berks County, PA -  The Animal Rescue League of Berks County is offering a special adoption promotion for the month of January called “Winter White Out.” All cats and dogs with any amount of white fur will be available for a discounted adoption fee of $50 for dogs (normally $125) and $25 for cats (normally $95). Included in the adoption fee are vaccinations, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery.

Some of the ARL’s current adoptables can be seen at www.BerksARL.org/adoption and of course, adopters are invited to visit with shelter pets on location at 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508 (Cumru Township).

The Animal Rescue League of Berks County is located just outside of Reading, Pennsylvania, and is the largest open admission shelter in Berks County accepting an average of 7,000 animals annually.  The shelter runs at maximum capacity most of the year, providing adoption programs, spay/neuter clinics, community outreach, education, animal welfare investigation, and more.
